YARDLEY, PA (May 25, 2010) -- NxGen Technologies has announced LED-based, flame-shaped chandelier lamps that are ideal for mood lighting and other decorative applications where incandescent bulbs are currently being used. Designed to simulate the "hot spot" visible in incandescent filament bulbs, these chandelier lamps provide long life and enormous energy savings over their traditional incandescent counterparts.

"The fractional wattage LEDs we use," said David Allen, president of NxGen Technologies, "provide up to 90 percent energy savings over incandescent bulbs and are designed to last 25,000 hours. They’re specifically designed for mood lighting and decorative applications where incandescent lamps would normally be dimmed to set the lighting atmosphere. LED chandelier lamps afford users enormous savings in both energy cost and the cost of labor for re-lamping."
